The Recreational Drone Pilot Training at Versa Aerospace is designed for individuals who want to explore the exciting world of drones, whether as a hobby, a creative tool, or the first step toward a professional aviation journey.
Our program is fully aligned with GCAA regulations and provides a balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on flight experience to help you operate drones safely, responsibly, and confidently.
Practical Training takes place at Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Khalifa City,
Abu Dhabi, offering a dynamic and secure environment for practical sessions. Under the guidance of certified Versa Aerospace trainers, you’ll learn everything from drone
fundamentals to airspace awareness and operational safety.

Once your documents are received, Versa Aerospace will apply for your GCAA security
clearance.
After approval, our team will coordinate your training dates and guide you through the
payment process.
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of both theory and practical sessions, trainees will receive
the official Recreational Drone Pilot Certificate, recognized by the General Civil Aviation
Authority (GCAA).
This certificate validates your competence in safe drone operation within the UAE —
empowering you to enjoy your drone responsibly and confidently.
